Need a self care assistant?

Hey, I'm Olivia. I support busy and ambitious Black women in reaching their health and self care goals !

How Can I Support You?

Ada is the Nigerian Igbo word for "Eldest daughter". As a Black woman and eldest daughter my journey through trying to prioritize my health and wellness while taking care of my loved ones was a difficult and lonely one. Throughout my public health career, I've created Ada's Essentials to support busy and ambitious Black women in connecting with health and self care resources that complement their personality, lifestyle and goals.

I believe self care is a community effort and can be used to holistically approach preventative care. The power of self care lies in the fact that everyone's journey will look different and nurturing, investing, and caring for ourselves now can make all the difference towards our overall health in the future. And I would love to help you along the way!

As a client of Ada's Essentials, you will receive support in :

  • Finding and securing appointments with health professionals in your city.
  • Locating mental health professionals and resources that fit in your budget.
  • Balancing your hair care routine and understanding the enormous amount of information online concerning how to take care of your curls and coils.
  • Planning out your hairstyles and organizing them into a schedule that is compatible with your lifestyle.
  • Making appointments with an esthetician or dermatologist of your choice that can help you find a solution for your skin concerns.

Because everyone's self care is different, we use the six self care foundations as a starting point.
